Congratulations to Angie Cordova for presenting her research at the NSF REU Closing ceremony!
Angie was one of eight REU scholars selected from a pool of over 100 applicants for the REU Site hosted at Rice’s Psychological Sciences department.
Angie was mentored by graudate student Fernanda Morales-Calva. Angie shared her findings on her research looking at the effects of stress on memory performance in Latinx populations.
Angie will be going back to continue her studies in psychology with a concentration in cognitive and behavioral neuroscience and a minor in health disparities at the University of Florida.
We will miss you, Angie. Thank you for all your work.
