Dr. Stephanie Leal has been awarded a 2022 Brain & Behavior Foundation Young Investigator Grant! The project will be supported for 2 years and aims to examine the impact of antidepressants on emotional pattern separation and medial temporal lobe dynamics.
The Brain & Behavior Research Foundation (BBRF) is a nonprofit 501 organization that funds mental health research. It was originally called the National Alliance for Research on Schizophrenia & Depression or the acronym for that, NARSAD. They invest in the most innovative ideas in neuroscience and psychiatric research to better understand the causes and develop new ways to treat brain and behavior disorders.
