The Leal Neuroscience of Memory & Aging Lab at Rice University is looking to recruit a postdoc with a strong background in fMRI analysis. There is a large dataset ready to be analyzed which includes fMRI, sMRI, DTI, resting state, and more.
The postdoc would be involved in analyzing a large fMRI dataset, in which participants (young and old) were scanned in a two-day study while performing a novel emotional mnemonic discrimination task using more naturalistic stimuli (see Leal et al., 2019). Older participants also have amyloid and tau PET scans along with an extensive neuropsychological battery.
There will also be lots of opportunities for the postdoc to start their own projects (behavioral studies, MRI, and PET) and to analyze other existing data such as DTI or resting state.
